A New Pair of Chairs for the Living Room

I’ve been in love with this chair from Joss & Main — inspired by the famous 1940s Rope Chair — for a very long time now and am pumped to finally have a pair of my own. They’re the perfect mix of natural texture with a modern touch! They add so much depth to our living room and really pull the space together, I’m truly obsessed.

One critical perk: they look good from every angle. I always pay particular attention to this when purchasing home goods as I know I like to move things around the home every few months to keep things fresh and I hate being limited to where I can place things. When you can place something at any angle in a room, you’ll have so much more versatility in moving it around, or taking it from home to home if you move — and that detail helps the things you love and select be forever rather than temporary pieces.

I will say my one concern going in was that the rope would be scratchy and uncomfortable, but the material and weave of these have such a soft, not-at-all scratchy touch to them and the cantilever seat provides the perfect amount of give for them to be surprisingly comfortable. Will AND the pups approve, so I’m thrilled to have finally found the right pair for our space.

Speaking of versatility, I strategically chose this little concrete side table — it’s actually an indoor/outdoor piece so I love that I’ll have the option to pull it outside come summer. In the meantime, I love it here in our living room: it’s durable, has an interesting shape, and introduced a new material to the space that has a nice natural nuance and patina to it’s surface.

I’ll share links to everything below and am happy to answer any questions if you have these on your wishlist and want more info! You can also explore their beautiful Spring editorial and new arrivals here for more eye candy.

xx.
