Objects of Desire: LoQ Tabletop

prepare to swoon over LoQ’s refined tableware

First thing’s first: welcome to a new series —  Objects of Desire — I am very excited to build this out! This will be a great way to further share work that catches my eye and inspires! Moving forward, my goal is to highlight fashion-oriented favorites and fresh discoveries via Style Files and home pieces, artwork, objets via this new series, Objects of Desire. I hope you enjoy!

I’ll kick this series off with objects that have shot to the top of my personal wishlist:

dinnerware and serving pieces for the tabletop from LoQ!

You all know my renewed itch for elevating the everyday dinner and I’ve been searching for dinnerware, glassware, and serving pieces that I can treasure over every meal and can invest in over time. My goal is to collect artisan pieces over time, upgrading our basics to more meaningful mix-and-match pieces over the years ahead. Once I found this new collection offered by LoQ, I’ve been dreaming of dinner parties and the chance to entertain (one we’ve finally beaten this pandemic) all over again!

Originally known for their footwear, I love that LoQ’s thoughtful approach to fashion clearly translates to their new homewares, all of which are minimal, sustainable, and sculptural.

I immediately ordered these (I can’t wait for them to arrive!), and I’ve got the black ruffled plates and bowls sitting high on my wishlist, along with the Tutu wineglasses, and this flatware set (the softly scalloped edge on the spoons…I’m truly swooning).

It’s clear that each piece is artisan-designed, and each curve of material feels like an expression of art. That is truly how I love my everyday objects because when art collides with the utilitarian, even the smallest moments of every day life can bring us joy.
