April Favorites

April felt like a month that wouldn’t end, trudging through an up-ticked work schedule in addition to complete impatience waiting for move-in day to our new house. Now it’s May, and the days are whizzing by in the blink of an eye! 19 days until we move and I’m fine for the days to keep slipping by! You know your girl already has 95% of her apartment packed and I’m busting at the seams ready to take on new projects.

But all of that will come soon enough, so I didn’t want to pass the chance to pause and appreciate a few things from this past month and share a few notable bits with you all!

Boston hasn’t exactly been shelling out sunshine and warmth, but nonetheless, it was time to swap out my heavy knits and jackets for my warm-weather wardrobe. I’ve been rotating my closet seasonally for years and I honestly look forward to this ritual each season. It allows me take the most advantage of my closet space while falling newly in love with items I already own. Make sure to check out all my shared tips here!

Nothing ramps ups spring cleaning like packing up for a move while selling your home. I’m deep cleaning on new levels to make our place pristine for our buyer and I’ve gone deep into the rabbit-hole of Go Clean Go. I just purchased her cleaning guide and am nerding out on it big time! This place was so special to us on move in day, and I want to go above and beyond to make it special to our buyer when she moves in at the end of this month.

And speaking of our new home, I’ve made our first few purchases to start immediately enjoying the outdoor space,  including these outdoor chaises (I’m obsessed with their shape!), this gorgeous outdoor umbrella, this adorable blow-up pool (not sorry that I’ll be parking my booty here for all of a summer with a rotation of cocktails and my Driving with the Windows Down playlist).

I also nabbed a few cutie things to freshen my spring wardrobe that I’ll share below along with a couple things I have bookmarked. So many amazing dresses, blouses, and general resort wear that’s been catching my eye as I’m craving the opportunities to get up, out, and dressed up more and more! I’ll share it all below.
