Fresh Linens for Spring

Featured linens were kindly gifted from Garnet Hill.  As a company focused on quality and sustainability, I am proud to routinely partner with Garnet Hill.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Spring is my love language: longer, sunnier days, flowers starting to bloom, and abundant beams of sunlight flooding the home truly make me do a happy dance. And I’ve come to really understand the joy of refreshing bits of your home for the season to really lean into the nuances that make this time of year so special! (Well, that, and, all this extra time we are spending cooped up at home as a result of these wild times definitely drives my nesting mode into overdrive.)

After experimenting a bit with color and moodier hues this past year, I’ve come to learn that lighter neutrals calm me the most and feel truest to my personal style. So I’ve been slowly swapping out things that feel more dialed in to what makes me happy.

I love partnering with Garnet Hill because they have such beautiful neutral textiles that have a way of still adding subtle texture. I swapped out my dark gray linen duvet cover for this neutral striped one, layered in this organic cotton blanket, and these matelasse shams and am so happy with how much it has lightened and brightened our bedroom space!

I also upgraded our old tattered towels (also from Garnet Hill TEN YEARS AGO, so we definitely got plenty of use out of that amazing wedding gift) with these new ribbed linen/cotton blend towels from their Eileen Fisher collection. With simple neutrals, texture is key for visual interest, and this ribbed set is perfect.

And, FYI, if you plan to upgrade your own towels, make sure to set aside your old set to donate to your local animal shelter! They also go to good use with the animals up for adoption, and that is exactly what we plan to do with ours.

p.s. I’ll also drop easy links to all of these new linens over on our Shop My Home page
